When founder and Domestic Mediator Sileta Bell relocated to Henry County, she envisioned a space where families could access both mediation and therapy in one trusted practice. Georgia Family Mediation, founded in 2022, offers families in McDonough, Henry County, Clayton County, and throughout Metro Atlanta a heart‑centered, collaborative path through life’s toughest transitions — from divorce and custody agreements to repairing fractured family relationships — without the heavy toll of court battles.

Our Impact
2022 to 2023
Affordability and Accessibility
In our first year of business, we proudly offered pro-bono and reduced-rate mediation services to underserved families across Jonesboro, Riverdale, Stockbridge, McDonough to name a few, ensuring that support and resolution are accessible to all — not just the few. In all, we gave 50 sessions and over 150 hours of our time to families at a significantly reduced rate. Today, we continue to give back by offering free resources, courses, and trainings, to help families manage conflict in their lives.
2023 to 2024
Community Outreach
By our second year, Georgia Family Mediation expanded its impact across Henry County and greater Atlanta through strategic partnerships with local nonprofits and family-centered organizations, one of them being the L.I.V.E.S Foundation. At L.I.V.E.S we offered a conflict resolution training and discussion-style series to young adults.
These partnerships reflect our deep commitment to community-based family mediation and our mission to make conflict resolution skills accessible throughout Georgia. We’re proud to serve as a trusted resource, helping families thrive through every season of change.
2024 to Present
Proactive Solutionists
At Georgia Family Mediation, we believe that prevention is just as powerful as resolution. That belief drives our commitment to proactive family support across Henry County and all of Metro Atlanta. We've developed a library of free resources and affordable, self-paced trainings tailored for individuals, parents, couples, and extended families.
These tools empower families to handle conflict early, communicate with clarity, and foster emotional safety at home. Because when families are equipped with skills, they don’t just avoid crisis—they build connection.
By the end of 2025, we expect to reach more than 200 families across Georgia and beyond through our virtual training platform, helping to create a ripple effect of stronger, more resilient communities.
